firstly the link should be
the subdomain was pointing to your main public_html not the testsite folder (ive changed that)
and you uploaded the new public_html folder into the testsite folder rather than just ts contents
the sub domain will take time to become active and you shouldnt have imported the database rather wait and go through the install to create a fresh one |

LOl dude wtf
you didnt read properly what i said
the contents of your testsite folder on the ftp should have all the contents of the nuke public_html folder ...
I.e admin , blocks , modules ect
as it is now inside your testsite folder there is the new public_html folder..
Its up to you but you can either install the new site from
or delete the contect of the testsite folder and start again
TBH id delete it and start again but atleast the main site didnt get FUBAR |

3. upload the public_html folder in folder [testsite]( or ??)
4. i need to set promissions?
5. do i need to upload that SQL file to my db?
after that the link should be :

Yes i think you got it bud.
In this case the testsite folder is public_html !
so just treat it as such, its contents should look like your proper public_html
once youve uploaded again just type the link into your address bar
no need to do anything else (permissions)
the installer will go through all that with you
there are a few folders that may need to be manually checked for the correct perms
but just check the installer reaadme thats included with your downloaded platinum package C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\7.6.b.4v2(2)\7.6.b.4v2\Installation or whatever it is. |

Sry bud didnt see this till after we spoke on msn
you can make a subdomain point to any folder you want..
just go to your eastpeak control panel, click sub domains and youll see the one i set up for the test site |
